Distressing that happened.
Downwardly on your taskbar where you lot come across the speaker correct click it and select playback devices.
Select your speaker and ready them as default. Does that fifty-fifty piece of work?

If not so right click your start button and select device manager.
Get to Sound.
Come across if you can see your headphones and then right click them and select uninstall device.

Both solutions you volition probably have to keep doing because Windows plug and play will go on trying to enable the headphones. Sorry.

I am looking to avoid that situation as service center is asking me to replace unabridged motherboard. It's a gaming laptop so motherboard toll a lot.

Is in that location any audio director or setting in registry from which I can disable headphone port ?

Thanks

Bhushan

Hi Bhushan, in that location is no setting in Windows to fix this, you are not going to be able to fix this yourself, there is a tiny switch inside that headphone socket that needs to be released.

If you cannot get that tip out, you will demand to become a repair human to do that for you
